With the weather being as bad as it has been in the uk I’ve not been using the car as much. I was on the way to the local supper market and walked there the road involves a very busy  road but as I was walking I could hear 1 single brid say good night to the world. It them made me reflect about all the back ground noices that life bring to us as I have heard it called the ‘background static’  to life. In the Rule of St Bendict written in the 6th century it states “Let us open our eyes to the divine light that comes from God and our ears to the voice from heaven that everyday  calls out this charge “If you hear his voice harden not you heart.””

How do you minimism you ‘background static’ to really listen to what God really wants for your life.

Do we really listen to what God wants.

Do we listen atentively to those arround us.
